Vice President of Finance

Oxford Federal Credit Union with over $134 million in assets, is located in Western Maine, and is in search of an experienced financial executive to become their Vice President of Finance. This is a great opportunity to work for a well capitalized, financially strong organization providing financial services to anyone who lives or works in beautiful Oxford County, Maine.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will provide leadership, overall direction, and management to the credit union's financial, accounting and technology practices and strategies. This individual will have a solid background in Accounting as he/she will lead the Credit Union's financial and regulatory reporting function.

Major responsibilities include: General Ledger accounting, asset liability management, financial statement preparation, budgeting, investments and cost/profitability analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements facing the industry, strong financial expertise, excellent supervision, organizational and communication skills. Must be knowledgeable in Accounting and Finance for financial institutions with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role. A strong knowledge of financial systems and a BS/BA in Finance or Accounting is required.
